Electronic Mail Team

Newsletter Team

- Published monthly (September through June)
- Contains 1-2 articles pertinent to project management or PMI
- Contains boilerplate (programs schedule, contacts, etc.)
- Investigate feasibility of charging for advertisements in the newsletter
- Proof read
- Identify best practices
Web Content Team
- 1-2 Members
- Perform ongoing maintenance
- Perform quality assurance
- Work with board members to ensure web content is updated accurately

Education Team

Decide upon Seminar Reference Material, order materials from PMI

Select site for Review Sessions, coordinate direct billing with Chapter Treasurer

Make arrangements for laptops, projectors, screens and other equipment, coordinate billing with Chapter Treasurer

Distribute all materials to students

Host all review sessions, collect studen surveys, collate and distribute survey data

Generate certificates of attendance for all students, generate certificates of appreciation for all presenters

Attend all review sessions for Quality Review purposes, formulate update strategy upon completion of sessions

- Interface with and lead tasks for the PMI IS SIG on issues on national/international and regional interest, i.e. PMP CAQ for IT Projects, IT standards development, PMBOK section extensions.
- Interface with PMI Pittsburgh Chapter Meetings Chair and other Chapter volunteers
Health Care LIG Team

- Plan meetings and presentations
- Recruit qualified speakers
- Host meetings and presentations
- Represent the Pittsburgh PMI Chapter Healthcare SIG to other organizations and companies having interest in IT Project management
- Interface with and lead tasks for the PMI Healthcare SIG on issues on national/international and regional interest, i.e standards development, PMBOK section extensions.
- Interface with PMI Pittsburgh Chapter Meetings Chair and other Chapter volunteers
Financial Services LIG Team
- 1-2 Members
- Plan meetings and presentations

- Host meetings and presentations
- Represent the Pittsburgh PMI Chapter Financial Services SIG to other organizations and companies having interest in IT Project management
