IT and Software Project Estimation using Schedule-Based Risk Analytics
Robert M. Ditmore presented a practical and theoretical discussion on scheduling IT and software projects and what can be done to improve it. IT and software projects rarely complete on-time, on budget, or with fully integrated functionality. Challenges to successful project delivery include defining schedules too early in the project cycle where uncertainty is at its greatest. Identify the different stages of IT and software projects and how to account for task uncertainty using schedule-based risk analytics. Presenter: Robert M. Gray Bridge Software is a Pittsburgh-based startup developing a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) schedule-based risk analytic project management tool to improve confidence and predictability to IT and software projects.
