Be a feature in May's WIPM!

Hi everyone,
We’re excited to begin planning our May Women in Project Management meeting and are looking for volunteers to help bring this session to life.
May's theme, “The Project That Taught Me the Most,” is an interactive, participant-led experience designed to foster meaningful connection, real-world learning, and active engagement. Rather than formal presentations, this session will focus on storytelling, reflection, and shared insights from our own project experiences.
We’re inviting volunteers to share a brief story (just 5–10 minutes) about a project that shaped how you lead, influence, or deliver. This is a great opportunity to:
  • Share your experiences in a supportive, low-pressure environment
  • Connect with peers through real, relatable project moments
  • Practice presenting without the need for slides or formal structure
  • Contribute to a session built on collective insight and learning
No need to prepare a formal presentation. We’re happy to meet with you ahead of time to help you plan, shape your story, and provide any support you need. We’ll also help facilitate the discussion during the session.
Whether you’re a seasoned speaker or just looking to build confidence, this is a welcoming space to participate and grow.
If you’re interested in volunteering, please send an email to director_wipm@pittsburghpmi.org.  We’d love to have you involved!
Thank you for helping make this a meaningful and engaging experience for our community.
