Community Service: The Greater Food Bank of Pittsburgh
Project management is everywhere - including in giving back.
7 members of our Pittsburgh PMI chapter volunteered at The Market at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Foodbank, helping dozens of local community members in need. It was a great opportunity to connect with others while giving back and observing and discussing project management practices at a local nonprofit!
According to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Foodbank's website: The Market, our onsite pantry, is a place where there is no judgement, and everyone is treated with dignity and respect. All eligible neighbors can shop for grocery items at no cost.
