Founded in 1980, the PMI Pittsburgh Chapter has established itself as a cornerstone of the project management community in the Greater Pittsburgh Region. With over 1,600 members representing a diverse array of industries and disciplines, the chapter serves as a vibrant hub for professionals seeking to enhance their skills and collaborate with peers.

The organization operates as a volunteer-driven entity, creating valuable opportunities for its members to engage in professional development through teaching, presenting, and sharing knowledge at both local and international levels.
