State Theater Revitalization Project (In-person)
Join the Pittsburgh PMI chapter as we host our May meeting from the State Theater in Johnstown!
The State Theater of Johnstown is a historic theater built in 1926. After changing hands multiple times in its nearly century of use, it is now being renovated to become a mixed use arts facility for the community of Johnstown. It will feature state of the art screening rooms, a performing arts center, classrooms, overnight accommodations, restaurant and jazz club, and recording studios.
The historic space is in need of major renovations to meet the need of a 21st century audience. Eric Reighard will share details about the project and how it aims to activate the various areas within the building to provide modern, yet different experiences, products and services offered to the public. A tour of the facility will be provided to in-person attendees.
