LaNita Whittle, PMP, leads as a senior manager of the Refinish project management office (PMO). She is a highly motivated, versatile and diverse leader with more than 15+ years of experience dynamically delivering high quality results globally through project and program management. LaNita has an uncanny ability to bridge the gap between technology and business to drive strategic roadmaps as well as be a change catalyst to support new ways of working through digital transformations.
LaNita a Pittsburgh native holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a minor in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University and is currently pursuing an MBA at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business. She has also earned several professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL v2, and SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). She began her career in Information Technology and has since advanced through multiple roles within a Fortune 200 company, gaining broad experience across technology, operations, and strategic leadership.
In addition to her day-to-day work, LaNita serves as the sponsor for her company’s Black Employee Network (BEN). She is a member of The Advanced Leadership Institute’s (TALI) ELP 2023 cohort as well as a previous member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Furthermore, LaNita is a proud wife and mom of two wonderful children and loves spending as much time as possible with her family.
