We're back at Juniper Grill in the Strip District to mingle, learn, and action! Join us in person this September for an energetic, highly interactive PMI Pittsburgh Professional Development & Mentorship session focused on turning greater self-awareness into stronger relationships, better conversations, and new possibilities. We’ll build on our work around Ikigai, Career Maps, Personal Boards of Advisors, self-check-ins, wellness, balance, and skills—and explore how those tools can help you become more intentional about the people you know, the people you should know, and the opportunities you may not even know exist yet.

We’ll dig into what actually works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to networking, why proactive relationship-building differs from reaching out only when you need something, how referrals can change the hiring conversation, and what makes someone stand out beyond the skills listed on a résumé. We’ll also explore one of the most powerful career scenarios of all: becoming the kind of person an organization is so excited about that they start looking for ways to bring you aboard.

And because this is an in-person session, we’re not stopping with the discussion. We’ll put the ideas into action through a fast-moving networking experience designed to help members make new connections, practice better conversations, surface opportunities, share open roles, and connect great people with other great people.
