Risk & Risk Language

Ways of Working

PMI-RMP is the "fun guy" of risk management. The author of two risk management textbooks (with seven books to his credit), Carl Pritchard understands the nature of risk, its culture and the challenges that organizations face when they have the risk conversation. Carl was the lead chapter author of the risk management chapter of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge for the fourth edition of the PMBOK. He is an award-winning contributor to the project management community, and is the principal and founder of Pritchard Management Associates, a leading project management training firm.

From the unknown-knowns to the tolerances to the issues, risk language is a bit intimidating for some, and foreign to others. In this compelling webinar, Carl Pritchard takes you through the basic language of risk management and opens the door for a better, clearer understanding of how we can communicate risk more effectively.

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Apply risk language appropriately in their organization
  • Develop a risk lexicon for their projects
  • Build a key element of risk culture for their organization
