Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Project Management

Power Skills

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is more than a workplace trend, but a societal movement. Now more than ever, we need to be intentionally fostering a culture where we can be there for each other to get through this challenging time--together. Join organizational psychologist, Dr. Victoria Mattingly as she shares her DEI research and experience working with companies such as Amazon, Intel, and American Eagle Outfitters using science to inspire behavioral change that results in people taking better care of themselves and each other at work. Come ready to engage and participate, as this session will be interactive (polls, live exercises), grounded in research specific to PMI Pittsburgh's member base, and will leave you with actionable insights to immediately apply to your work as a project management professional and for building a more diverse and inclusive PMI Pittsburgh.

Dr. Victoria Mattingly holds her PhD in organizational psychology, meaning she's trained in the science of improving the human experience at work. She is CEO and founder of Mattingly Solutions, a management consulting firm that measures workplace inclusion and trains majority group members and leaders to be allies to help build a workplace culture where everyone can thrive.
